Krieger has created the Velocita, a series of superlative chronographs in a combination of 18-karat gold and stainless steel and in all stainless steel. All versions of the Velocita are fitted with a specialized quartz movement that has been certified by Controle Officiel Suisse Des Chronometres and, hence have the coveted distinction of being a certified Swiss Chronometer. Indeed, it is the only certified Swiss quartz-chronometer chronograph today. Which means it has no rival in terms of performance. In addition to the standard time and day-date models, the Krieger Velocita collection also features models with four time recorders including one-tenth second, 60 second, 60 minute and 12 hour counter. Two seperate sweep hands serve as second and minute time recorders. Along with a split-time function, there is also a tachymeter, tachymile and telemeter.
